The Friends are a separate charity set up to raise funds for the upkeep of St Peter's church building.

 

Around £36,000 have been raised so far, and a large proportion of this money has been spent on the important building work of a new lightning protection system, replacing wooden shingles on the spire, replacing wooden louvres on the tower and re-pointing the stonework. But more work still needs to be done, so watch out for upcoming fundraising events.
